With this self-care-focused to-do list, you can (almost) eliminate the night-before wedding jitters.
Do you have wedding-night jitters? Or you’re predicting them? We’re not surprised. Nervousness the night before (and the day before) is so normal. Channel all of your energy into finishing these 12 tasks the night before your wedding, and you’ll have peace of mind and a solid foundation for the big day itself.

Eat Healthy
Even if the greasy pizza and grab bag of crisps are calling your name, stick to the fresh fruit and whole grains. They will not leave you with a food hangover like a Big Mac and fries on your wedding day.
Drink Plenty of Water
Keep a cool glass of water nearby at all times and spend some quality time with during the day. This will help you avoid dehydration caused by stress and running about finishing off last-minute bits and pieces.
Set your Phone to Silent mode/Turn Off Notifications
Say good-by to checking Facebook and frantically checking emails, texts etc. Set your device to silent mode, limit the notifications, or give it to someone you can trust to look after it.
Pack & Put Wedding Day Bags in the Car
Pack the car with everything you’ll need for your wedding day, so you don’t have to worry about doing any heavy lifting (physically or mentally) before heading out the door in the morning.
Double Check Payments for Suppliers
Have them organised digitally, whether that means scheduling payments through PayPal etc or collecting cash envelopes together. If it’s the latter, place them in clearly marked envelopes and hand them over to that one responsible person (maid of honour, maybe) in your party.
Assemble a Survival Kit
Toss a few must-haves into a small tote bag in case you, or anyone requires some emergency items. Take a few plasters, safety pins, paracetamol, and, of course, hair and beauty supplies.
Pen a Little Love Letter for Your Partner
Put together something brief and sweet for your fiance. Reminding them who will be meeting them at the end of the aisle tomorrow. Attempt to slip your note into their next day outfit, so they’ll get a nice surprise while they make their morning preparations.
Have a Manicure/Pedicure
When they ask if you want a 10-minute massage while you’re getting your nails done, don’t say ‘no’ like you normally do! Say yes, and embrace the relaxation. You deserve to be pampered.
Take a Stroll Around in Your Wedding Shoes
Practise walking in a straight line while wearing the shoes. Then, turn up the volume on your favourite pop song and bust some moves. This will not only help you relieve stress, but it will also teach you when to expect your wedding shoes to throw a tantrum on your feet.
Deep Yoga-like Breaths
Finish your wedding day with five minutes of meditation and deep breathing. This will help you relax before going to bed.
Spend Some Alone Time With Your Partner
Make time the night before your wedding for some alone time with your partner, before all the excitement (and inevitable busyness) of the next day! Check in with each other and remind each other that the only thing that matters the next day is celebrating the love you both have for one another.
Go Over Your Vows
The night before your wedding is the perfect opportunity to go over your vows one last time before the big day.
